Winston & Strawn LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Pamela Davis as a partner in the firm’s San Francisco office. Pamela brings 25 years of white collar experience to the firm, including the distinction of being appointed three times by the U.S. government to serve as an independent Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) monitor and independent consultant.

“Winston’s deep bench of litigation talent across its global offices, as well as the firm’s capabilities in Latin America and Asia, allows me to expand my work with clients on global investigations and compliance matters,” said Pamela. “I am looking forward to working closely with the firm’s FCPA practice to counsel companies and individuals on proactive steps they can take in response to today’s regulatory environment.”

Prior to joining Winston, Pamela served as co-director of Hui Chen Ethics Consulting, where she worked with one of the most renowned individuals in the compliance field, former Department of Justice FCPA and Compliance Consultant Hui Chen, to counsel executives, start-ups, and Fortune 500 companies on compliance FCPA matters. Pamela was previously an equity partner in the White Collar Criminal Defense Group at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, where during her 13-year tenure she oversaw more than 150 separate investigations. She also served as the Deputy District Attorney for the County of Contra Costa, California, during which time she first-chaired over 60 jury and bench trials.

Pamela also serves as a criminal executive committee member for the Bar Association of San Francisco and as an advisory board member for GAN Integrity, a platform that designs and develops enterprise compliance management software. She has been named one of the Top 100 Women in Investigations globally by Global Investigations Review and is consistently selected as one of The Best Lawyers in America for Criminal Defense: White Collar.
