Cooley LLP announced today that it advised Horizon Pharma, Inc. on its acquisition of Dublin-based Vidara Therapeutics International Ltd. for stock and cash valued at approximately $660 million. The resulting company, which will be organized under the laws of Ireland, has a portfolio of four products marketed primarily in the US. The transaction is expected to close by mid-2014. (more…)
