Allen Matkins, a California-based full service real estate and business law firm, announced today the hiring of finance attorney Susannah Keagle in its Los Angeles office. Susannah joins Allen Matkins’ Corporate & Finance department as a member of its Financial Services industry group.

Susannah has served as bond counsel, disclosure counsel and underwriter’s counsel for a variety of public finance transactions for large institutions such as cities, counties, school districts, community colleges, nonprofit corporations and healthcare districts. She also has represented clients in mergers, acquisitions, investments and joint ventures. Susannah’s practice at Allen Matkins will focus primarily on commercial and real estate finance.

After receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Susannah was a legal assistant at various law firms in New York City before moving West to receive her juris doctorate at the University of California, Los Angeles. She is a member of the Los Angeles Economic Development Committee, the Los Angeles Venture Capital Association, the Women’s Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, 85 Broads (an international organization of women in finance), and Broads Circle (a Los Angeles organization of women in finance).
