Angeli C. Aragon has joined LeClairRyan as a partner on the firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology and Labor and Employment Practice Area teams. She will be resident in the national law firm’s Los Angeles office.
In her intellectual property practice, Aragon handles litigation matters involving copyright, trademark, trade secret, defamation, right of publicity and unfair competition. She defends clients from a variety of industries, including manufacturing, restaurants, fashion and apparel, retail, and entertainment.
In her employment practice, Aragon also handles matters involving wage and hour, discrimination, disability, harassment, retaliation, trade secrets, contracts and unfair business practices. She assists clients in making employment and risk management decisions, and with conducting internal investigations. She also defends class action and complex litigation matters.
She also has experience handling appeals. Aragon was President of the Philippine American Bar Association of Los Angeles (PABA) in 2010-2011. She also served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Cynthia Holcomb Hall of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Aragon is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law (J.D.) and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) (B.A.). She is admitted to practice in California.
