Orange County office with the addition of John Della Grotta as a partner in the firm’s corporate and
securities group. Della Grotta comes to Snell & Wilmer from Paul Hastings, LLP.

Della Grotta focuses his practice on capital markets, mergers and acquisitions,
investment management, and general corporate and securities matters for
publicly held and private companies, private equity sponsors and financial
advisors. He has represented clients in a broad range of industry segments and
has developed experience representing technology, energy, healthcare, real
estate and retail and apparel companies. He regularly handles public and private
offerings of both equity and debt securities, including IPO’s and M&A
transactions. Della Grotta also represents companies in connection with internal
investigations, SEC investigations and stock exchange proceedings. In addition,
he represents special committees in connection with a variety of transactional
matters.

Della Grotta practiced law with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. from
1978 through 1981 and is a member of the U.S. Tax Court. Della Grotta is actively involved in the
community, currently serving on the Board of the Forum for Corporate Directors, where he also served as
Chair of the Board for four years.

Della Grotta earned his B.A. from University of Southern California, his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law and his M.L.T. from Georgetown University. He is admitted to the State Bar of California and the District of Columbia Bar.
