Erica Wilson, an experienced litigator with a track record of success representing clients in complex patent and other technology-related matters, has joined the expanding IP litigation practice at Davis Wright Tremaine LLC. Wilson joins the firm as a partner in the San Francisco office.

Wilson comes to DWT from Goodwin Procter LLP and has represented clients in patent lawsuits in the computer software/hardware and biotechnology industries, including mobile payment systems, remote access technology, virtual private networks, data compression, GPS technology, biometrics, semiconductor manufacture, and recombinant DNA technology. Prior to joining Goodwin Procter, Wilson was a partner at Morrison & Foerster.

Wilson joins an expanding IP litigation team at Davis Wright Tremaine that includes her former colleague Eric Walters, who came to the firm from Morrison & Foerster in April.

Wilson has a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of California – San Diego, and received her J.D. at University of California Hastings College of Law. She served for six years in the U.S. Navy, attaining the rank of lieutenant.
