Duane Morris is pleased to announce that Marianne F. Adriatico has joined the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group as a partner in its San Diego office. Adriatico further strengthens Duane Morris’ real estate practice, particularly its expanding capabilities in California. She joins Duane Morris from HechtSolberg LLP.

Adriatico practices in the areas of common interest development, land use, commercial lending and real estate transactions. She has extensive experience representing developers and builders in the structuring of master planned, mixed-use and condominium projects and their regulation by the California Department of Real Estate. She also advises in the areas of environment planning, including compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the National Environmental Protection Act, and state and federal endangered species acts. She regularly advises clients on the financing and lending aspects of residential and commercial development.

Adriatico is the co-chair of the Common Interest Subsection of the Real Property Section of the California State Bar. This area of the law is particularly relevant in California, where common interest developments are highly regulated. She is also a member of the Environmental Law section of the California State Bar, the Real Property and Environmental/Land Use Law Sections of the San Diego County Bar Association and the Urban Land Institute.

Adriatico earned her J.D. in 1999 from the University of California, Hastings College of Law, and earned her B.A. in Geography and Environmental Studies, magna cum laude, in 1995 from the University of California, Los Angeles.
