Morris Polich & Purdy LLP (MPP) is pleased to announce that Steven L. Hoch has joined the firm’s Los Angeles office as Partner.
Mr. Hoch is an environmental regulatory and litigation attorney who is a recognized authority and leader in his field. He has over 35 years of experience with both federal and state environmental laws and regulations relating to groundwater issues, groundwater contamination, hazardous substances and waste handling practices, soil erosion, soil contamination, as well as air resource issues. Mr. Hoch provides guidance to developers, municipalities, businesses, banks and trusts on transactional issues involving contaminated property, helping them find cost-effective solutions to environmental issues by using the businesses’ own attributes to bring about sensible economical results. He has published definitive articles on environmental liability, and lectured at many professional conferences on hazardous waste, environmental regulation, groundwater modeling, products liability, toxic torts and other environmental matters. He also serves on many important environmental committees, both state and national.
