Daniel M. Green has joined international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP in its Silicon Valley office as a shareholder in the Corporate & Securities Practice.

Admitted to practice in California, Massachusetts and New York, Green has more than 12 years of experience leading major transactions for private and public companies, including venture capital financings, public offerings and mergers and acquisitions. He also has a strong practice advising on general corporate matters and advises a large and growing number of technology companies and venture capitalists from Latin America.

“Dan is highly regarded for his business acumen and his wide-ranging experience working with a broad base of clients in the high technology industry, both in the U.S. and in Latin America,” said Heather Meeker, co-managing shareholder of the Silicon Valley office. “From start-up companies to large global firms, Dan is a trusted advisor, bringing a wealth of experience to our clients. Green received his J.D. degree from Harvard Law School and his A.B. from Stanford University. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Green was an attorney with Goodwin Procter. Before Goodwin Procter, Green was with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and the London office of Allen & Overy.

Greenberg Traurig’s Silicon Valley office has grown to 30 lawyers since its opening in August 2004. Earlier this month, the Silicon Valley office welcomed Brian D. Danella, who focuses his practice on intellectual property and technology law.
