Hanson Bridgett LLP is pleased to announce Ray Sheen has joined the firm as a partner in its San Francisco office.

Ray joins the firm’s insurance recovery practice group. Ray represents policyholders in complex insurance coverage disputes. He has obtained recoveries of over $100 million for a wide range of alleged liabilities and losses, including product liability/consumer class actions, data breach, patent and copyright infringement, antitrust injury, pollution, and securities claims. In addition, Ray has expertise in insurance for data breach and other cyber liabilities. He also has considerable experience in litigating class actions and other complex commercial disputes.

Ray was most recently a partner with the law firm of Jones Day. He received his J.D. from Stanford Law School in 1997 and his B.A. from Amherst College in 1992.

Ray is a frequent speaker on insurance issues and has served on the board of Asian Americans for Civil Rights & Equality since 2006.
