Michigan-based law firm Howard & Howard Attorneys PLLC is pleased to announce the opening of its Los Angeles, California office late last week. Joining the firm and based in this new office are: Lisa I. Carteen and Ryan A. Ellis.

The office is located in Century Plaza Towers at, 2049 Century Park East, Suite 330, Los Angeles, CA 90067-3105.

Carteen is a pragmatic problem solver who litigates a wide range of complex business and intellectual property disputes, including copyright, trademark and patent matters.

Carteen earned degrees from Campbell University School of Law and the University of Southern California. She is licensed to practice in the States of California and North Carolina. Carteen is also admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit; all U.S. District Courts in California; and the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of North Carolina.

Ellis concentrates his practice in business and corporate, entertainment and real estate law. Prior to joining Howard & Howard, he consulted with businesses on legal matters ranging from corporate formation and funding to mergers and acquisitions activities.

A graduate of Whittier Law School and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, he is admitted to practice in the States of California and Nevada, as well as Nevada Federal Court, and the Central and Eastern Federal Districts in California.
