Jackson Lewis LLP, one of the country’s largest and fastest-growing workplace law firms, is pleased to announce Cepideh Roufougar has joined the firm’s San Francisco office as Partner. Prior to her arrival at Jackson Lewis, Ms. Roufougar served as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Hayward in Hayward, California.

Ms. Roufougar has extensive experience advising management and government officials throughout California on a variety of issues including pension reform, wage and hour matters, labor relations, and the prevention of harassment, discrimination and retaliation in the workplace. Ms. Roufougar represents clients in a range of matters including contract grievances and negotiations, disciplinary appeals and administrative hearings. She also represents employers in writ proceedings and employment litigation, including appellate work. Ms. Roufougar is a seasoned trainer and presents a wide scope of training programs to employers in-house as well as at a variety of labor relations and risk management conferences and organizations throughout California.

Ms. Roufougar, a member of the California State Bar Association, is admitted to practice in the state of California. She graduated from the University of California, Riverside in 1999 with a B.A. in both Political Science and Sociology/Law & Society, and earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego Law School in 2002.
