Rutan & Tucker, LLP, Orange County’s largest full-service business law firm, recently announced that Julie Russ has rejoined the firm as senior counsel.
As a member of Rutan’s Employment Law Department, Russ brings extensive experience in litigating a broad range of complex commercial disputes, including claims for breach of contract, wrongful termination, race discrimination, misappropriation of trade secrets and unfair business competition. Her practice also includes counseling and training clients on various business issues in order to prevent litigation.
“It is a pleasure to welcome Julie back to Rutan, where she began her legal career,” said Kim Thompson, the firm’s managing partner. “We know she will be a valuable resource for our clients.”
Russ earned her law degree from George Washington University Law School in 1998, where she graduated with honors. She was selected to serve on the law school’s Moot Court Board, which is an honor bestowed on just 10 percent of a graduating class. She was a member of the Environmental Law Journal, and was a Student Bar Association officer. Russ earned an undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley.
