Michael John Miguel has joined the firm as a partner in the firm’s Insurance Recovery Group in the Los Angeles office. Recognized as a Top 100 Lawyer in California by the Los Angeles Daily Journal, Mr. Miguel is an active trial attorney with a diverse background in commercial litigation. He has a particular focus on insurance coverage matters, along with extensive experience in environmental, antitrust, intellectual property and toxic tort defense litigation. He has obtained insurance recoveries in excess of $1 billion for domestic and international clients. Mr. Miguel has litigated and won cases across the country, including in state and federal trial and appellate courts in 18 states, and has tried cases to verdict or judgment in 5 states.
Mr. Miguel received his J.D. from the University of Southern California Law School, and his B.A. from the University of California Los Angeles. He is admitted to practice in California, the District of Columbia and Massachusetts.
