Procopio welcomes J. Christopher Jaczko to the firm as Senior Counsel. He will be part of their Intellectual Property Litigation practice group, working out of the firm’s downtown San Diego office. Mr. Jaczko’s addition to the firm continues Procopio’s strong strategic growth in the intellectual property and intellectual property litigation areas.

Mr. Jaczko has extensive experience in intellectual property litigation, including patent litigation, trade secret misappropriation claims and a wide variety of complex business litigation. He is admitted to practice before all California State Courts, the U.S. District Courts in the Southern, Central, Eastern, and Northern Districts of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Prior to joining Procopio, Mr. Jaczko was the founder of two law firms in San Diego and a partner with Cooley LLP in San Diego, where he litigated a variety of intellectual property and business cases. He began his career at Luce Forward Hamilton & Scripps LLP.

In addition to his extensive legal experience, Mr. Jaczko was a Marketing Engineer and a Major Accounts Manager with the Semiconductor Group of Texas Instruments, Inc., at its headquarters in Dallas, Texas, where he was responsible for the strategic development and marketing of semiconductor products to the telecommunications industry. Mr. Jaczko received his B.S., in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Computer Information Systems, from Arizona State University and his J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where he served as Comments Editor of The International Lawyer. His distinctions include: Martindale-Hubbell® AV Preeminent Rating; Southern California’s Top Rated Lawyers (2013) and Top Rated Lawyers in Intellectual Property (2013).
