Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP announced today that prominent trial lawyers Marshall Grossman and Stacy Weinstein Harrison have joined the firm as partners in its Los Angeles office.

Mr. Grossman is a titan of the Los Angeles litigation bar with a distinguished record of success in high-stakes cases. For several years he has been top ranked by Chambers Global, Chambers USA and Best Lawyers in America. In addition, the Daily Journal has recognized him as among the most influential 100 lawyers in California. Ms. Harrison brings a strong focus on IP and litigation matters for the entertainment industry, as well as deep experience in litigation for the real estate industry. Together, they have prevailed in a broad range of commercial matters for clients that have included leaders in the media and entertainment sectors such as J.K. Rowling, Larry King, Erin Andrews, Beats Electronics (makers of Beats by Dre), Mariah Carey and international Spanish language media leader Grupo Televisa. Major institutional clients include the University of Southern California, the Estee Lauder Companies and leading financial institutions. Before joining Orrick, Mr. Grossman and Ms. Harrison were partners at Bingham McCutchen which they joined when their prior firm of Alschuler Grossman combined with Bingham in 2007.

In recent years, Mr. Grossman has been honored by the Century City and Beverly Hills Bar Associations for his contributions to the community and to the legal profession. His stellar communal contributions include service as a commissioner and chair of the California Commission on Judicial Performance and as a commissioner of the California Coastal Commission. Mr. Grossman earned his J.D. from the University of Southern California Law School, where he was an editor of the Law Review and graduated Order of the Coif, and is now a lecturer. He received his undergraduate education at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Ms. Harrison earned her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, and her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. She was elected Alternative Dispute Resolution Neutral for the Los Angeles County Superior Court in 2006.
