Cooley LLP announced today that it advised CBRE Group, Inc. on the acquisition of Fameco, a leading firm specializing in retail real estate services in the US Mid-Atlantic region. The acquisition of Fameco significantly bolsters CBRE’s retail service offering in the greater Philadelphia area and throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
With the acquisition, CBRE has added retailer representation, agency leasing, investment sales, land brokerage, and property management to its platform in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Along with more than 100 Fameco professionals, company co-founders Brandon Famous and Jeff Cohen will be joining CBRE as part of the transaction.
The Cooley team advising CBRE was led by corporate partner Louis Lehot and included tax partner Mark Windfeld-Hansen along with associates Dan Espinoza, Eric Chow, Cathryn Le Regulski and Carly Humphrey.
