Davis Polk advised Mailgun, Inc. on its acquisition by Rackspace Hosting, Inc., which was completed on August 29, 2012. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Mailgun is a San Francisco, California-based company that provides developers with a powerful set of APIs that allows users to send, receive and track email easily from within their applications. Rackspace is a service leader in cloud computing, delivering enterprise-level hosting services to businesses of all sizes and kinds around the world.
