Davis Polk is advising Westar Energy, Inc. in connection with an SEC-registered dribble-out offering and related forward transactions as part of its existing $500 million continuous equity financing program. BNY Mellon Capital Markets, LLC, acted as the sales agent.

Westar Energy is the largest electric utility in Kansas, providing electric generation, transmission and distribution services to approximately 691,000 customers.
