Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm represented Children’s Hospital of Orange County (“CHOC”), one of the nation’s leading pediatric facilities, in the acquisition of assets from Pediatric Subspecialty Faculty, Inc. (“PSF”), a large medical group providing the full spectrum of pediatric subspecialty care throughout Orange County California and the surrounding areas.
The transaction results in the launch of the CHOC Medical Foundation, under which CHOC and PSF will provide a more integrated approach to the provision of high quality pediatric healthcare services in a variety of patient care settings and continue to promote and carry on healthcare educational and scientific research activities.
Paul Hastings represented both parties in the transaction. Healthcare practice partner and chair James Owens led the Paul Hastings team, which also included associates Josh Hill, Jenny Wang and Paul Gomez.
