Shearman & Sterling represented Microsemi Corporation in its acquisition of the telecom clock generation, synchronization, packet timing and synthesis business from Maxim Integrated Products, Inc. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Microsemi Corporation is a leading provider of semiconductor solutions for aerospace, defense and security, enterprise and communications, and medical, alternative energy and industrial markets. Maxim Integrated Products, Inc. designs, manufactures, and sells high-performance semiconductor products.
