Shearman & Sterling represented the Province of Ontario (“Ontario”) in connection with Ontario’s public offerings of US$500,000,000 of its Floating Rate Bonds due August 13, 2015 and US$1,000,000,000 of its 1.200% Bonds due February 14, 2018 (together, the “Bonds”). Application will be made to the Luxembourg Stock Exchange (“LSE”) for the Bonds to be admitted to trading on the Euro MTF Market of the LSE.
Ontario is the largest Canadian province by population and home to both the nation’s capital and most populous city.
