Sheppard Mullin represented Pasquier S.A. and its affiliates in the Brioche Pasquier Group in connection with its purchase of capital stock of Galaxy Desserts, a privately-held bakery. Founded in 1974, Brioche Pasquier is a French manufacturer of traditional pastry, brioche, bread and other bakery products. The company is based in les Cerqueux, France and has operations in Spain, Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Galaxy Desserts, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, manufactures all-natural frozen desserts including mousse cakes, tarts, cheesecakes and baked goods. Their product line has received multiple industry honors, including NASFT 2003 Outstanding Dessert of the Year Award, placement on “Oprah’s Favorite Things” lists and “Oprah’s All-Time Classic Favorite Things.” CEO Paul Levitan and pastry chef Jean-Yves Charon, founders of Galaxy Desserts, will continue creating desserts.
