Alston & Bird LLP announced today that James R. Evans, Jr., has joined its litigation team as a partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office. With a national practice, Mr. Evans has nearly 30 years of experience defending complex and high-exposure lawsuits in state and federal courts. He has developed a reputation among his clients for his ability to successfully resolve their most difficult disputes. A seasoned trial attorney, Mr. Evans has extensive class action experience, and regularly defends high-stake matters involving claims of wage and hour law violations, employee misclassification, unfair competition, false advertising, disability discrimination and privacy violations.

His clients include companies in the retail, transportation, financial and manufacturing industries. He has significant trial experience in construction disputes involving public improvements.
