Alston & Bird has bolstered its finance capabilities with the addition of Gregg Loubier as partner in the firm’s Finance Group in Los Angeles. Loubier joins from Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory & Natsis LLP in Los Angeles, where he was partner and chair of the Real Estate Finance Practice Group.

Loubier has broad real estate finance experience with in-depth capabilities in commercial lending, portfolio and securitized commercial mortgage finance, construction lending, loan participation, loan servicing, workouts and the exercise of mortgage lender remedies. He also focuses on the acquisition, financing, leasing, management and disposition of real estate assets.

Loubier is widely published and speaks regularly to legal and industry groups. He is the California State Chair of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys, member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and past chair of the Los Angeles County Bar Association Real Property Section.
