Christian W. Liedtke has joined Buchalter Nemer’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, while awaiting California Bar results. Mr. Liedtke previously worked with Magic Circle and AmLaw 100 firms in Germany, the UK, and on both U.S. coasts. Leveraging his international background, Mr. Liedtke is experienced in national and particularly international multi-jurisdictional patent, trademark, design, unfair competition and copyright litigation.

Mr. Liedtke, author of the Parallel Imports under European Union Law treatise, has handled a myriad of product piracy and parallel-import cases. He possesses particular expertise in coordinating clients’ global IP enforcement efforts and structuring distribution networks to maximize the benefit for IP right holders and consumers.

Mr. Liedtke has specialized experience in IP related transactions, technology transfer, licensing and matters involving employee inventions as well as clearance and strategic portfolio creation and development. Additionally, he is well versed in intellectual property issues with respect to new media, such as user generated content and other web 2.0 and web NG phenomena.
