Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that Christine A. Williams has joined the firm as Of Counsel in the Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation practice. She joins the firm in Los Angeles from Northrop Grumman Corporation, where she previously served as Senior Counsel.

“Christine has an extensive background in employee benefits, privacy and security, and commercial and benefit plan litigation across different sectors including government, academia and in-house. We are really looking forward to having her on the team,” said Los Angeles Managing Partner Ron McIntire.

Williams will focus her practice on employee benefits, with an emphasis on 401(k) plans and health plans, including all aspects of health care reform, privacy and security for benefit plans and employers, and regulatory compliance. She will also provide drafting and counseling advice to many public and private clients, and will routinely support all benefits aspects of mergers and acquisitions, financings and other corporate transactions.

Williams earned her J.D., Order of the Coif, from the University of Kentucky College of Law, where she served as Notes Editor for the Kentucky Law Journal. She received her B.A. from the State University of New York at Binghamton. She is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Section Standing Committee on Ethics and Professional Responsibility and the Labor and Employment Law Section Employee Benefits Committee for the American Bar Association.
