Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP (JMBM) is pleased to welcome Eric J. Fromme as a partner in its Irvine, California office. Formerly of Rutan & Tucker, Fromme helps companies to restructure their financial affairs and represents creditors in their dealings with financially distressed companies, both in and out of court.
“Eric has built a successful practice serving clients in numerous industries including manufacturing, biotech, oil & gas, apparel, media, timber, financial services, and construction, among others,” said Gordon A. Fromme also represents private equity funds, hedge funds and other strategic buyers in acquiring control positions – or in acquiring – financially distressed companies. A substantial portion of his practice also involves advising boards of directors of companies on corporate governance and fiduciary duty matters in the restructuring context.
