Greenberg Glusker announced that four attorneys have joined the Firm: Amy T. Hu has joined the Firm as Of Counsel in its Entertainment Law GroupBrian E. Moskal has joined as an associate in the Environmental GroupJoshua Bird has joined as an associate in the Real Estate Group; and Christopher Pierson has joined as an associate in the Corporate Group.

Hu brings to Greenberg Glusker a wide range of experience handling entertainment and corporate transactional matters for production companies, directors in the commercial and music production industry, and other entertainment businesses. She has also represented and advised public and private companies, investment banks and private equity funds on a broad range of corporate transactions including high-profile mergers and acquisitions, corporate financings, corporate governance and compliance matters.

Prior to joining Greenberg Glusker, Hu was an associate at Skadden Arps. She also served as in-house legal counsel for a large public company, where she advised and worked closely with senior management and the board of directors. Hu earned her B.A. degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley (Boalt Hall).

Moskal is experienced with representing clients in environmental litigation and counseling matters, with a particular focus on contaminated sites and water and wastewater issues. He provides litigation and counseling support to industrial companies, property owners, and municipalities regarding matters arising under the Clean Water Act, Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, and California law.

Prior to joining Greenberg Glusker, Moskal was an associate at Bingham McCutchen. He received his B.B.A. degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his J.D. degree from the University of California, Berkeley (Boalt Hall).

Greenberg Glusker’s Entertainment Law and Environmental Law practice groups were each recognized by Chambers USA in its 2013 guide to American law firms as leaders in their respective practice area niches.

Bird focuses on all facets of real estate transactional work and has extensive experience with transactions involving the formation of joint ventures, real estate-related financing and the acquisition and disposition of complex commercial projects. He graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi and earned his J.D. degree from Columbia Law School.

Pierson advises foreign and domestic publicly traded companies, entrepreneurs and investors on a broad range of activities, including mergers and acquisitions, venture financings, corporate governance, securities regulations, as well as intellectual property protection, licensing, and distribution. Prior to joining Greenberg Glusker, he worked in Silicon Valley, Paris and Tokyo. Pierson graduated from the University of Michigan and received his J.D. degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
