“Thad and Mike are terrific additions to the firm,” said Ken Doran, Chairman and Managing Partner of Gibson Dunn. “They both have significant trial experience and will expand the capabilities of our Northern California offices and increase the bench strength of the firm’s white collar, civil and investigations practices.”

“The San Francisco office’s litigation group is extremely busy, and Thad and Mike will add to that momentum,” said Mary Murphy, Partner in Charge of the San Francisco office. “They will strengthen our securities, white collar and complex litigation practices in Northern California and will be strong assets for our clients firmwide.”

“I am excited to be joining Gibson Dunn,” Davis said. “The firm’s strong corporate and litigation platforms made the firm extremely attractive and getting to know the firm’s top-flight partners during the recruitment process only helped seal the deal. I look forward to working with my new colleagues to continue to serve clients on Gibson Dunn’s platform. It is an honor to be invited to join the firm that was twice-named as The American Lawyer’s Litigation Department of the Year, a call I could not refuse.”

“Joining Gibson Dunn’s highly regarded white collar practice is an unparalleled opportunity,” Wong said. “I look forward to joining the firm and continuing to build the firm’s white collar reputation in Northern California, as well as contributing to the firm’s unmatched trial practice.”
