Brian T. Hafter has joined the law firm of LeClairRyan as a partner on the Business Litigation and Intellectual Property & Technology Litigation Practice Area Teams. He will be resident in the national law firm’s San Francisco office.

Hafter, formerly of Liner Grode Stein Yankelevitz Sunshine Regenstreif & Taylor LLP, focuses his practice on complex litigation matters such as the litigation of business, intellectual property, securities, real estate, trust and estate, insurance coverage, bankruptcy, and employment disputes. He has represented a variety of clients including leading financial institutions and Wall Street brokerage firms, software developers, e-commerce companies, real estate developers, entertainment companies, entrepreneurs, non-profit organizations and charitable foundations.

He currently serves as a volunteer arbitrator for the Attorney Fees Dispute Program of the Bar Association of San Francisco, has been recognized as a “Northern California Super Lawyer,” and is a frequent lecturer and author on a variety of legal topics. He is a graduate of The American University, Washington College of Law (J.D.), the University of California, Berkeley (B.A.), and is admitted to practice in all California state and federal courts.
