O’Melveny & Myers LLP announced today that Mark Easton is rejoining the Firm from Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. where he served as Deputy General Counsel. Easton will reside in O’Melveny’s Los Angeles office as a partner and a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group. He also will spend significant time in the Firm’s Century City office working with members of O’Melveny’s Entertainment, Sports and Media Practice Group.

Easton has an impressive track record advising on public and private company mergers and acquisitions, SEC compliance, and corporate governance matters. He has broad industry knowledge not just in the entertainment, media, and sports industries but also technology, real estate, health care, aerospace/defense, financial services, manufacturing, and retail. At Warner Bros., Easton served as the principal transactions lawyer for Warner’s global legal department. He completed a wide variety of transactions for the company, including acquisitions, investments, joint ventures, licensing agreements, and financings in the television, videogame, and digital media sectors.
