O’Melveny & Myers LLP represented Kabam, the leader in free-to-play core gaming, in its acquisition of Vancouver-based Exploding Barrel Games. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Silicon Valley-based O’Melveny team was led by partner Paul Sieben and associates Katherine McCormick and Sue K. Lai.
Within the past three years, O’Melveny has also represented Kabam in its prior acquisitions of WonderHill, Fearless Studios, Gravity Bear, Wild Shadow Studios, and Balanced Worlds.
