McKeen focuses on complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on the real estate industry. This includes real property law, environmental claims, business torts, trade secrets, unfair competition, Uniform Commercial Code, bankruptcy proceedings, and partnership disputes. In addition, his general commercial litigation experience includes working in the areas of IP, financial institutions, environmental, and trade secrets, and with a range of companies across industries.

McKeen joins DLA Piper from Paul Hastings LLP, where he served as the national co-chair of Real Estate Litigation group. He received his B.A. from Stanford University, and his J.D. from University of California, Los Angeles.
