We are pleased to announce that Laurie Gustafson has joined Sedgwick’s Real Estate and Finance practice as a partner in the San Francisco office. Gustafson’s practice focuses on commercial real estate, including real property acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, financing, construction, development and management.  She has experience leading complex multistate and international real estate and finance transactions, including office, retail, restaurant, shopping centers, industrial, rural, infrastructure and mixed-use projects. Most recently, she has established expertise in dissolving redevelopment agencies, and she represents the Oversight Board for the City of Oakland.

Gustafson’s extensive transactional real estate experience will complement the firm’s existing real estate and finance, real estate litigation, land use and natural resources, construction, and other practices within Sedgwick’s commercial division.  She has already established excellent contacts in the Bay Area, particularly through her work with CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) in San Francisco, where she is currently a member of the Board of Directors and holds the offices of director of membership and secretary. She has been nominated to serve as president-elect for the year 2014.

Gustafson is a 1984 graduate of U.C. Davis School of Law.
