O’Melveny & Myers LLP represented QLogic Corp., a leading supplier of high performance network infrastructure solutions, in its sale of specific InfiniBand products and assets to Intel Corp. for US$125 million, which closed on February 29, 2012.
“We’re happy to be able to guide such a great company as it continues down its strategic growth path,” said O’Melveny partner Gary Singer. “We were able to capitalize on O’Melveny’s strong global platform to advise QLogic on a variety of legal issues in the US including intellectual property, antitrust, and labor and employment, among others, in addition to the transfer of assets in foreign jurisdictions.”
The O’Melveny team was led by partners Singer and Andy Dolak, counsel Jeff Cislini and Gilbert Villaflor, and associate Jonathan Feldman.
