Shearman & Sterling represented Francisco Partners in the acquisition of Plex Systems, Inc. from a group of shareholders led by affiliates of Apax Partners. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Plex, based in Auburn Hills, Michigan, is a pioneer in cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for manufacturers whose flagship product, Plex Online, is a “shop floor to top floor” solution providing deep functionality for virtually every department within quality-driven manufacturers.
