Simpson Thacher is representing Siris Capital Group in connection with its announced agreement to acquire Stratus Technologies Bermuda Ltd. Stratus Technologies is a privately held company, owned primarily by Investcorp, Intel Capital, MidOcean Partners, and NEC. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2014, subject to customary closing conditions.

Stratus’ solutions – software, platform and services – prevent downtime before it occurs and ensure uninterrupted performance of essential business operations.
