Simpson Thacher represented the underwriters, led by Citigroup Global Markets Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, RBS Securities Inc. and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC, in connection with the registered public offering by Oracle Corporation of $5 billion aggregate principal amount of notes issued in equal $2.5 billion tranches of 1.200% senior notes due 2017 and 2.500% senior notes due 2022.
The net proceeds of the offering are intended to be used for general corporate purposes, which may include stock repurchases, future acquisitions and repayment of Oracle Corporation’s outstanding debt.
