Simpson Thacher represented the underwriters, led by BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch, and The Royal Bank of Scotland plc, in connection with Oracle Corporation’s first registered public offering of euro-denominated notes. Oracle Corporation offered €1.25 billion aggregate principal amount of 2.250% senior notes due 2021 and €750 million aggregate principal amount of 3.125% senior notes due 2025. The euro-denominated notes are listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

Simpson Thacher also represented the underwriters, led by Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated, Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, and HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., in connection with the registered public offering by Oracle Corporation of $500 million aggregate principal amount of senior floating rate notes due 2019, $1.5 billion aggregate principal amount of 2.375% senior notes due 2019, and $1.0 billion aggregate principal amount of 3.625% senior notes due 2023.

The net proceeds of the offerings are intended to be used for general corporate purposes, which may include stock repurchases, payment of cash dividends on common stock and future acquisitions.
