Buddie has joined the firm’s San Francisco office as Partner.

Mr. Buddie’s nine-year career as a surveyor, structural engineer, and a member of the
project management team for a major commercial construction company provided a
distinctive perspective, which he brought as a leading attorney to the construction industry.
Over the past 30 years, Mr. Buddie has been recognized as a leader in pursuing and settling
major claims for some of the largest commercial contractors. As a proponent of the proper
use of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) procedures, he has served as an arbitrator and
has successfully settled hundreds of multiparty construction disputes both nationally and
internationally.

Mr. Buddie has been recognized by both Chambers & Partners USA as one of the Leading
Lawyers in the field of Construction Law in the State of California and Northern California
Super Lawyers from 2008 to the present. He also has an AV® Preeminent™ peer review
rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

In addition to Mr. Buddie’s legal practice, he has served in the public sector for over 16
years for agencies including the Marin County Planning Commission, City of Sausalito, Marin
Transportation Authority, and the Sausalito Planning Commission.
