Morris Polich & Purdy LLP (MPP), a highly acclaimed California and
Nevada law firm, is pleased to announce that Lane E. Webb has joined the firm’s San Diego
office as a partner.
Lane, whose practice is centered on toxic tort, professional liability, employment law,
automotive, and transportation, joins an outstanding team whose members are located in San
Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Las Vegas.
Lane has substantial experience in the defense of claims arising from the inhalation, ingestion
and dermal exposures of environmental contaminants. He has defended mass tort
environmental claims involving claims of “sick building” syndrome across the United States
involving hospitals & medical facilities, court houses, high rise apartment and condominium
buildings and state and government buildings. Lane handles the defense of such claims
throughout California and the United States and has tried many matters to verdict. He currently
serves as National Monitoring Counsel for several major insurance carriers. In this capacity he
has been admitted pro hac in over 20 states to assist local counsel with the defense of such
claims.
Lane is a member of the San Diego Bar Association and Claims Litigation Management. He was
recognized by San Diego Magazine as a top lawyer in the field of Environmental Law in 2013
and 2015. Lane was also awarded as a Top Trial Attorney from Farmers Insurance Group in
2008.
