Mueller advises energy industry clients on project development, acquisition, disposition, financing, contract and real estate matters. His recent experience includes representing clients in connection with the development, acquisition, sale and/or financing of many of the largest solar energy projects constructed to date in the United States, including the first large-scale solar project approved to be built on tribal land in North America. He has also represented sponsors in the development, acquisition, disposition and financing of wind energy projects, hydro-electric projects, a $400 million geothermal energy facility in the Salton Sea geothermal resource area, landfill gas projects and numerous natural gas fired projects.

Mueller also boasts a significant commercial real estate practice representing investors, developers and lenders in office, retail, hospitality, industrial and residential industries in all aspects of project financing, development and leasing.

Mueller earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (1993) and his B.A. in economics and business from the University of California, Los Angeles (1987). He makes the jump to Farella from the San Francisco office of Winston & Strawn.
