Goodwin Procter, a leading Am Law 50 and Global 50 law firm, announced today that Chauncey Swalwell has joined the firm as a partner in its Real Estate Capital Markets Group in Los Angeles. He comes to Goodwin from Stroock & Stroock & Lavan.

Swalwell focuses his practice on commercial real estate and represents private and institutional investors and lenders in connection with the acquisition, sale, development, leasing and financing of hotels, student housing, industrial parks, office buildings, shopping centers and other projects, including the structuring of complex transactions involving public and private REITs, TICs and other investment and lending vehicles.

Law – Angelenos to Know in Real Estate” in 2013. He received his J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and his B.A. from University of California, Los Angeles.
