He has substantial experience involving acquisition of intellectual property and monetization of such assets. His practice focuses on the development and enforcement of patent portfolios, as well as creating partnerships between IP clients and private equity firms and other investors who can help to monetize promising patent portfolios. Thakur has represented companies in patent, trademark, and commercial disputes spanning the telecommunications/VOIP, medical device, software, and semiconductor industries.
