Louis Dienes has joined Locke Lord’s Los Angeles office as a Partner in the Corporate Practice Group. Dienes brings a wealth of experience working with clients in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, equity and debt financings, and business operations.

He has represented buyers and sellers and their respective boards, senior management, investment banks and other stakeholders such as debt holders in more than $10 billion of consummated mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, including U.S. and foreign stock and asset acquisitions and mergers.

“Louis’ transactional experience will be invaluable to our Firm’s Corporate and Transactional Departments, particularly in the middle markets,” said Mitch Popham, Managing Partner of the LA office. “In particular, he brings substantial experience in transactions involving technology and other intellectual property assets of distressed businesses.”

Dienes has represented businesses, investment banks and investors in more than 150 private offerings of securities, including preferred stock offerings, convertible debt offerings and offerings of partnership and limited liability company securities as well as acting as U.S. co-counsel in foreign private offerings of securities, with substantial experience in advising private investor groups and angel investors.

A graduate of Stanford Law School, Dienes had previously worked at TroyGould where he was a partner in the Corporate Department.
