Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that Lowell Ness has joined the firm’s Palo Alto office as a Partner in the firm’s Emerging Companies practice. Ness was most recently a Partner in the Silicon Valley office of Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP.
Ness focuses his practice on venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings and private placements, and his clients include start-up companies from the earliest stage, as well as well-established public companies. Ness also represents private equity and venture capital funds.

Ness earned his J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, and his B.A. in International Relations and Economics, cum laude, from University of Pennsylvania.
