Cooley LLP announced today that it advised TriNet Group, Inc. on its $276 million initial public offering. TriNet, a cloud-based strategic partner to small and medium sized businesses for payroll, health benefits, employment law compliance and risk reduction, now trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “TNET.”

The Cooley corporate and securities team advising TriNet included partner Jodie Bourdet, partner Craig Jacoby, who heads the firm’s emerging companies practice, and partner Drew Williamson, as well as associates Siana Lowrey, Amada Busch, Jennifer Baer Tuohy and Eric Cheng.  Critical support for the offering was provided by special counsel Laura McDaniels (compensation & benefits); and partners Susan Cooper Philpot and Bill Morrow (tax).  Partner Mischi a Marca, special counsel Maricel Mojares-Moore and associate Jason Savich advised on a related debt refinancing.
