The Orange County office of global law firm K&L Gates LLP welcomes Spencer Hamer III as a partner in the labor, employment and workplace safety practice. Hamer joins K&L Gates from Michelman & Robinson, LLP.

Hamer represents employers in state and federal courts and before other administrative bodies on labor and employment matters including discrimination, harassment, breach of contract, family medical leave, disability, wage and hour claims, retaliation, unfair competition, trade secrets, wrongful termination, privacy rights, executive compensation, and workplace theft. He has extensive experience advising employers in the health care, insurance, hospitality, and advertising industries, and conducts training on general employment law and risk issues, including leaves of absence, employment agreements, accommodations, employment policies and procedures, wage and hour audits, workplace investigations, and anti-harassment training.
