Nossaman LLP has expanded its Healthcare Practice Group in its Sacramento office with the addition of seasoned healthcare lawyer Kim Ware, who joins the Firm as a Partner.

Ms. Ware brings a wealth of experience to Nossaman’s Healthcare Practice Group. She is adept at advising medical staffs and their members regarding operations, governing documents, credentialing, peer review, corrective action hearings and physician wellness matters, including Physician Well-Being Committee activities. Prior to joining Nossaman, she headed the Ware Law Group—a boutique healthcare law firm that she founded and ran for over 15 years.

She also serves on the Attorney Advisory Group to the California Patient Protection and Physician Health organization (CPPPH).She holds a J.D. from the University of California Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law, and a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of West Florida.

In addition to Ms. Ware, Rebecca Hoyes and Morgan Muir join the Healthcare Practice Group as Associates in the Sacramento and San Francisco offices respectively. Ms. Hoyes served as an attorney alongside Ms. Ware at the Ware Law Group. She holds a J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law, and a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of San Francisco. Ms. Muir previously served as an attorney at the University of California, San Francisco and Hooper, Lundy & Bookman PC. She holds a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of Law and a B.A., with honors, from the University of Chicago.
